All products are made in small batches using responsibly sourced timber.

2. Use of This Website

You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only.
You must not interfere with the operation, security, or content of the site, nor attempt to copy or misuse any intellectual property belonging to Element & Oak.

3. Product Information

We take great care to ensure product descriptions, imagery, and specifications are accurate.
Because our products are handcrafted from natural hardwood:

  • Grain patterns, colour tones, and texture will vary
  • Dimensions may differ slightly due to finishing and sanding
  • No two boards will ever be identical

These variations are part of the product’s natural character and are not considered defects.

If you have specific requirements, please contact us before ordering.

4. Prices & Payment

All prices on the website are shown in GBP (£).

Prices include VAT where applicable.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time; however, the price at checkout is the final price you will pay.

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit & Debit Cards (via Stripe or WooCommerce Payments)
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay (where supported)
  • PayPal

Your payment details are processed securely through our third‑party payment provider.
Element & Oak does not store or have access to your full card information.

5. Orders & Acceptance

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

Your order is accepted when:

  • We send you a dispatch confirmation email
    or
  • We begin making your bespoke/custom item

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:

  • The item is unavailable
  • Payment is not authorised
  • Fraud or misuse is suspected
  • There is an error in pricing or product information

If an order cannot be fulfilled, you will be refunded in full.

6. Processing Times

Processing times vary depending on the product:

  • In‑stock items: dispatched within 2–4 working days
  • Bespoke/custom orders: dispatched within 7–14 working days
  • Larger commissions: timeframe will be agreed individually

Processing time is the time needed to craft, finish, and pack your item.
It is not the shipping time.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Our full shipping policy is available on the Shipping & Delivery page.

Key points include:

  • UK delivery via Royal Mail, DPD, or Evri
  • Standard delivery: 2–4 working days
  • Express delivery: 1–2 working days
  • Tracking details sent by email (where applicable)

Once shipped, delivery times are outside our control.

Element & Oak is not responsible for delays caused by courier issues, strikes, severe weather, or incorrect delivery information entered at checkout.

8. Custom & Bespoke Orders

Custom and personalised items are:

  • Made to order
  • Tailored to customer specifications
  • Not eligible for cancellation once work has begun
  • Not eligible for change-of-mind returns

This does not affect your statutory rights for faulty products.

9. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Your statutory rights are protected under UK consumer law.

Standard Items

You may return standard (non-custom) items within 14 days of delivery, provided:

  • The item is unused
  • In original, resellable condition
  • Returned at your own cost

Refunds are processed once the item is received and inspected.

Custom or Personalised Items

These cannot be returned unless:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged on arrival
  • Not as described

10. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours
  2. Provide photos of:
    • The product
    • The packaging
    • The damage
  3. Include your order number

We will replace the item or issue a full refund.

All content on this website—including:

  • Text
  • Images
  • Designs
  • Logos
  • Product photography

—belongs to Element & Oak and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

We take your privacy seriously.
Personal data is handled in line with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

We never sell your personal information.
